Martin Haake






























After some years living in London, Martin moved back to Berlin where he lives with his wife and his two little sons. He has been working as a freelance illustrator for about 14 years for clients all over the world: Barnes & Noble, Daimler Chrysler, Orange, JD Edwards, Bacardi, Pfizer, The Royal Society of Arts, Penguin Books, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Bloomberg,Travel & Leisure, Elle and the Shangri-la Hotel, Hongkong.

His work has been selected for many illustration and design annuals: American Illustration, Illustrators, Images-Best of British Illustration, Print, Luerzers Archive and his work has been featured in Illustration Now, published by TASCHEN. Some of his work has won international awards like the silver awards at the German and British Art Directors Club. He is a big fan of American Folk art and is collecting telephone doodles.
