Different, but the same

There exists a rather large indefinable gray area between the fine art world and the world of illustration. Throughout the modern history of visual communication, illustration has often flirted with the other side of artistic expression– crossing back and forth over established categories of image making, blurring distinctions, cross-pollinating with the other for a time, confounding critics, academics and even the public.
